I bought this tv only a few months ago and already I am experiencing the problems others have talked about in their reviews. Every so often the tv turns off...or won't even change of direction on to begin with. The power light just blinks every few seconds. Most of the just the same from time...

I bought this TV brand new on Dec 28th last year (2008). After 2 months of operation I noticed fragile color distortion. By 4 months it was bad enough I knew I wasn't imagining it and it was not program interdependent.

A: LCD's don't 'flare-in'...Plasma's have that problem, but it's actually less of a problem on those now too!
LCD's and Plasma's last about the same...50,000 to 100,000hrs!
