Young lady it!
Yes, I altogether love this TV! I've had numerous LCD TV's, and evenlast year's Samsung 63" PN63B550. Since I have very few windows adjacent to cause glare on the shinny screen I went with another Plasma for my kinsfolk room. This PN63C550 TV was actually the warranty replacement for my PN63B550,...
Accomplished picture, much lighter weight, awful remote control.
[May 20, 2010 update: I've had the TV for several time and the only other change I needed to make to improve the picture quality is to set the murkiness level setting to 'darkest'. Unlike my previous LCD TVs, this required barely a few tweaks for my own personal preferences. Unless you're...

Samsung PN50A550 screeching, cycling on/off - Home Theater Systems ...
by mrstampe
I bought a Samsung PN50A550 from Orbit Metropolis last year, and it started having a serious mess after only 7-8 months -- straight in perpetually for CC to go out of charge. Each experience I spin it on, it cycles on and off 3-6 times, screeching and flashing a country-like mask, then in the course of time stays on to toil correctly. Each cycle lasts about 15 seconds. I can't direct the TV by unconnected or on-set rudder while it is cycling. Seems like making a notable fiscal investment in a top rated HDTV should submit a well-advised b wealthier common sense than this. There are spotted complaints about this across the internet, but I safe haven't seen any answers yet. Any thoughts for adjust/use/access for what seems to be a industrialist's frailty? Thanks a lot!
